Korean superstar Son Heung-min will be the main focus of attention for the north London club as the 2021-22 Premier League top scorer looks to make a big impact in his homeland.
The Spurs squad for this game will be a mixture of senior players and youngsters, with the likes of Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Erik Lamela, Kyle Walker, Christian Eriksen and Hugo Lloris all set to feature for Conte’s side. However, recent signing Clement Lenglet won’t be playing due to his failure to secure a visa in time for the trip. Fraser Forster, Ivan Perisic, Richarlison and Yves Bissouma have all been included in the 28-man travel party but Joe Rodon, Tanguy Ndombele, Sergio Reguilon and Harry Winks are all staying back in England.
The game is expected to be full of action with the Spurs youngsters looking to impress on their international debuts. But the home team will also be strong with former Barcelona youngster Lee Seung-woo, two-time K-League Best XI member Cesinha and Lars Veldwijk all featuring. K-League XI vs Tottenham Live Streaming
Tottenham’s preseason tour of Korea will get under way with this game against Team K-League. It will be the first match that the North London club plays on their Korean trip and it will also be their first match under new manager Antonio Conte. The Italian has already put his players through a physically demanding training session on Monday with some of them left exhausted after running 42 pitch lengths in the scorching 30C heat.
Tottenham are expected to be without a few members of their squad with Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster and Richarlison still on the sidelines while they try to get Clement Lenglet’s deal over the line. Dejan Kulusevski is a doubt while Joe Rodon is unfit to travel with the rest of the team and it looks as though the quartet of Tanguy Ndombele, Harry Winks, Sergio Reguilon and Son Heung-min will not be joining the squad either.
It will be interesting to see how Spurs perform under the new regime and how the youngsters will adapt to Conte’s demands as they take on the best players from one of Europe’s top leagues. The Italian is bringing a strong squad with him and he will use this game to experiment with the formations that he will be looking to implement when the season starts back in England.
